The Guardian Program

What is a guardian home?

It's a forever home for a very special dog that we've handpicked to join our program! Our Guardian Homes welcome these pups into their families, free of charge, and provide them with all the love, care, and attention they deserve. Our guardians undergo a thorough screening process and are responsible for all aspects of care, including food, grooming, and non-breeding related vet visits and expenses. When the time comes for the dog to be bred or have puppies, they get to come to my house for some extra pampering! And when they retire, all ownership and paperwork is transferred to their guardian family, so they can live out their golden years in the comfort of their forever home. Our guardian families are an integral part of the Vino and Vespa Doodles team, and we're forever grateful for their love and support.
Why do we use guardian homes?

Dogs are pets first, and we believe they should be cherished as such. We know that dogs thrive on love, attention, and time, which is why we don't use kennels. Instead, our program dogs live indoors with me, or with their forever families, receiving all the snuggles, playtime, and love they could ever want! As a result, our dogs grow into happy, well-adjusted, and well-developed companions that make the perfect breeding prospects! While my dream is to house all the cute puppies I could ever want, I can only accommodate so many. That's why I'm on a mission to find the perfect homes and people to join our program and provide our dogs with the forever love they deserve. If you're passionate about dogs and want to be part of our program, we'd love to have you join our beautiful life!

Our Available Guardian Dogs

Meet our incredible guardian dogs currently available and searching for their forever families. These sweet babies are part of our program and currently live in my home with me while waiting for their forever families to find them!

Could that be you?

Each available guardian dog has been carefully selected for our program and were looking for dedicated families to give them undivided attention, love, and care. They each have their own unique personalities, stories, and set of needs, and were committed to matching them with the right families who will love and appreciate them as much as we do.

Learn more about them here - including temperament, favorite activities, and what kind of home would be the best fit. If youre ready to open your heart and home, all while working along side a wonderful and ethical breeding program, one of these wonderful companions might be waiting just for you!
